Due to the very thick solid conductors, VOVOX® excelsus direct S cables are extremely stiff. This is not everyone's cup of tea. Due to their stiffness, these cables are not suitable as microphone cables. Warranty is 2 years.

Excellent cables!
For audio mastering these cables are worth their weight in gold. I upgraded from the Vovox sonorus XLRs and the difference is remarkable. Tight and clean LF with a very clear and airy HF... particularly with reverb tails. There is a real sonic depth using these cables. The sonorous sound great but these are a worthwhile investment if you are working in highly critical listening environments.

Vovox Excelsus direct s interconnect cable
I bought the vovox sonrous and zoalla silverline to shootout with the mogami gold a few years back. The mogami sounded almost no different then any cheap cable. The zaolla was more detailed but a little thinner. The sonorus was a nice improvement. With more detail, better soundstage and a sense of weight to the music. I was very happy with the improvements. In direct comparison to the vovox sonorous, the excelsus have better micro and macro detail. Producing more holographic soundstage and far from subtle. The bass became articulated, tight and dynamic. The highs and mids are smoother with a greater resolution, sounding very natural. Most of all the music has a greater sense of relaxation. It’s as if an artificial smearing of the highs and mids was lifted. When switching to the excelsus. The music literally makes your ears feel relaxed from this natural sound. As if the volume was turned down. But its not! Like the difference between listening to a cheap stereo on max vs a high end hi fi system. To most people hi end cables are like snake oil, that do not change the sound quality. To those people what a blessing you cant hear a difference. its a lot cheaper! Lol But for those who have normal hearing and an open mind. I highly recommend these cables. You will be very pleased at the improvement this investment will make. These will last a lifetime through all of your systems. For reference I'm listening with a lynx hilo convertor with neuman kh120.
