Description

Multifuser DC 2 is a bi-dimensional diffusion panel that is frequently applied to walls or ceilings, providing multi-reflection on both vertical and horizontal planes in sound critical spaces. It performs on mid and high frequencies, brightening and clarifying sound.

Made from high quality EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), Multifuser DC 2 is notable not only for its effective performance in solving problems like lack of speech intelligibility or music definition, but also for its attractive design that fits perfectly in any kind of room.

  • High efficiency - 2 dimensional Primitive Root Diffuser + Top surface angle.
  • Easy to install
  • Can be painted with water-based paints

Applications
Recording and Broadcast Studios, Post Production Studios, Listening Rooms, Conference and Teleconference Rooms, Lecture Halls, Distance Learning Rooms, Public Spaces, Auditoriums, Performance Spaces, etc.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because this is an EPS foam product, some small blemishing on edges is not unusual.

    The best Diffusor

Posted by Michael Sean Diaz (Dimelo Sean) on March 16, 2022

Honestly, it is the best diffuser that I have found in the online market. The material although it is (FOAM) is a strong (FOAM). I mean rigid that does not break easily. For the benefit of those who need a more exact description. I would compare it with a foam beach cooler (WHITE) in texture but obviously 100 times stronger. Which is not easy to break unless you use an object like a blade or hacksaw. The black color is not completely black, but rather dark gray. I recommend that if you want it black, then paint it black, but be careful what kind of paint you use so that you don't damage it. Finally, if they are going to put it on the ceiling, I would put some strong fasteners on it, but they should not break the (FOAM) not because it is going to break, but because it does not weaken or damage it.
Any questions throw me on my IG @dimeloseanofficial By language.

Cualquier pregunta tirenme a mi IG @dimeloseanofficial By language.

    Vicoustic DC@ Diffusion Panel

Posted by Darin Lasater on January 17, 2022

Product does the job. The colored panels look better than the plain white panels, which look like a Styrofoam cooler. Also, the panels are somewhat fragile and dent easy. One panel had a broken "knob" incurred during shipping, which I just super-glued back in place. Much more aggressive looking than the absorber panels, so need to have a dedicated room for these. My wife liked these the least from an aesthetic perspective.

    Vicoustic dc2 diffuser

I purchased these for use in my 2 channel audio system. Placement was on the front wall between the speakers. I had tried several brands of both diffusion and absorption treatments in that position but none have performed to the level of these. The results were like adjusting the eyepiece on a pair of binoculars. Everything was brought into focus. Voices are very clear and the presentation is more relaxed. Thus being able to hear deeper into the recordings. VERY highly recommended.

    Effective Product

Posted by Christopher Souder on September 2, 2020

I recently purchased a box of gray diffusers. I love the color and they are super easy to hang up given their light weight. After just a few songs it was obvious that these diffusers expand my room and give me more spatial cues and recording venue character. The only reason I gave it four stars is because these were shipped with absolutely no protection besides the cardboard box they came in. As a result one of the corners was not surprisingly crushed in. I will likely be able to hide this with another panel but seriously, no protective packaging at all! For $700 I think it is reasonable to expect at least an effort at protecting the corners.

Very light and easy to install. I used Velcro tape. It works. Sounds so good in here!

    Great Product

This is my second box, I realized that I have more surface to cover after installing the first box. It is very effective to improve the mid-high frequency in my listening room. Highly recommended.

    Great Product

The material is solid yet very light, can be easily attached to wall or ceiling with mounting tapes. Greatly improves the mid-high frequency in my listening room.

Effective acoustical treatment that's not ugly!

Posted by Charlie Graves on June 12, 2018

All of the sonic benefits I got from my QRC diffusers are now even more apparent with these new skyline replacements:

Flutter echoes are gone. Sound is more intelligible. Individual voices are more tightly focused, and positioned more precisely-both laterally and front to back.

An added bonus is they look good without drawing a lot of attention to themselves. The pieces butt together so well, it all looks like one big seamless piece of fine 3D wall art. The color is specified as black, but they're more a charcoal grey.

Build quality is much better than I expected. "Expanded polystyrene" usually means to me a lightweight, easily breakable styrofoam with a somewhat pebbley finish-much like a cheap beverage cooler. These panels are heavier, stronger, and much more dense with a smooth finish-almost like solid polystyrene.

A substantial improvement to my home theatre/listening room. Highly recommended.
