Solid mini-boom
Ordered the MB1 to setup an overhead camera for my online piano teaching. It's a solid stand, with a weighty base that's padded underneath, which made me feel good about placing it on my piano. The adjustment knobs are solid and move smoothly, which helps to adjust it for whatever you need. Appreciate the mid-adjustment on the boom so you can lengthen or shorten, depending on your spacing. Given the heft, I would feel comfortable placing a sturdy microphone with the proper layout (line the boom up with one of the feet). If you're looking for something short, this is a solid choice.
